PicksRecon About

Privacy policy

Effective November 2, 2026

PicksRecon (www.picksrecon.com) is a free sports predictions site run by Ryan Jones. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it's used.

What we collect

There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard logs of requests (your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and when). We use these only to keep the site running and secure, and we delete them regularly.

Advertising and cookies

The site is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure them, and, where you allow it, show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • You can turn off personalized ads from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from many other ad networks at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
  • If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. In US states with privacy laws, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information for targeted advertising. You can change your choices any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

We don't use cookies of our own to track you. The pages don't set any cookies except those placed by the advertising and consent tools above. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them; see Google Fonts privacy.

Data sharing

We don't sell or rent any information we collect. Information gathered by Google through ads is handled under Google's privacy policy.

Children

PicksRecon isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
